Have you seen the fantastic Indigenous mural painted by Shara Delaney with a little help from our Indigenous students? Despite having to dodge the rain over a number of days, the mural is nearing completion. Shara is hoping to finish it off this weekend. Out Indigenous students have all added their handprints. The mural tells the story of our school from Quandamooka time, through to the time when the sisters of Mercy first came to Wynnum and started our school. The mural then depicts the coming of the Franciscan Friars in 1945. Below are some photos taken on Monday during the painting of the mural.
