Over the last two weeks 24 selected students aged 10-12 from Guardian Angels' have been competing at the Lytton District Athletics Event held at UQ Athletic Stadium. The students were selected based on their performance at the Athletics Carnival at Iona and for field events had to meet Metropolitan East qualifying heights and distances. 

All of the students represented Guardian Angels' in an outstanding way.  From the original 24 students, 14 made it through to Day 2 of the trials competing in semi-finals and finals. Supporting one another the students gave it their best with personal bests being attained for most. 

Please send your best wishes to our five students who move on to the next level, representing Lytton District at the Metropolitan East Trials at the end of August. Good luck to you all.
