Students were presented with a letter from Bishop Polding and were asked to recover a series of phrases to summarise the impact of pioneering Catholics from the 1850s-1900s. The first challenge involved researching a specific event in teams and creating a timeline to display. The second challenge involved researching an influential Catholic or group and creating a “Who am I?” If Mrs Prasnikar guessed they were given the code and moved on to their final challenge. In this challenge they looked at two different Catholics who worked with Indigenous Communities and recognised their Spirituality. Using one of their stories they are retelling their journey through symbols.
