The Year 6 Stewardship commitee is responsible for supporting and providing opportunities for our
school community to create a sustainable future.
This term our stewardship committee has started an initiative to COLLECT PLASTIC
BREAD TAGS. The tags are recycled locally, raising funds to buy wheelchairs for
disadvantaged people, mainly in South Africa.
Want to collect bread tags for us?
It’s easy – collect bread tags and drop them off with your classroom teacher and our
committee will collect them.

improving our school environment. This will initially include our vegetable patches in Chestnut
St. playground.
If you are interested in helping us by saving your botles and distributing them
at containers for change then please choose us as your charity. Please use the QR code below.
We are also saving a lot of containers from going into landfill. WIN WIN!! WE HAVE COLLECTED
OVER 3000 CONTAINERS SO FAR!!
Thank you.
